Astroman and the Helping Hand
A published picture book I wrote and illustrated about a young astronaut, his family and a lost alien who needs help getting home. Every page started as a hand-drawn, hand-colored illustration on paper.
From paper to page
I wrote the story, then drew and colored every page by hand. I scanned the drawings and finished them digitally: I used AI image tools to render clean, full-color versions from my drawings, then fixed details and placed the text in Photoshop. The layouts, characters, story and lettering are mine; the finishing pass made the color and linework consistent across the book.
